Intersoft employs a "Knowledge Management Architectural Framework" meant to acquire, share and create knowledge assets for inclusion in the company repository. “Knowledge Communities" are then created to discern how to insulate this knowledge base from attrition.

As a result, Intersoft has put in place very strong knowledge transfer and knowledge management processes and created a model that is now an integral part of our project execution. The model’s primary focus is the retention of the collective knowledge as explicit knowledge. A separate auditing team reviews the knowledge base within the team and introduces tools for effective domain knowledge retention and system documentation.
The highlights of Intersoft's KM Architectural Framework are:
- Knowledge Management Group
- KM Center Head, Knowledge Champions & Knowledge Communities
- Intersoft project experience evolving into company knowledge
- Focus on intrinsic knowledge (not only artifacts)
- Identify and account for knowledge assets
- Identify at risk assets
- Acquire, share and create knowledge
- Modify behavior to reflect new knowledge and insights
- Deliver knowledge to customer as a response.
